Barton Peveril College : Performing Arts Department
Throughout my time at Barton Peveril College, I produced several forms of promotional material for the department using footage I captured (in some cases, while leading small crews) of their First and Second years' performances.Notably, I created content for productions of King Lear, A Midsummer Night's Dream and A Comedy of Errors.
This 'promo reel' was used to advertise the production, and was submitted before the performances occurred. It was designed for use on the college's Performing Arts-dedicated Instagram account.
These photographs were taken during dress rehearsals of the department's performance of A Midsummer Night's Dream.
Portrait Photography
Starting with simple headshots, I've sharpened my camera and lighting skills to capture a plethora of serious (and not so) portraits.
DV Mission's 48 Hour Film Challenge
After watching the competition for many years, and even entering once or twice within a large group, I decided that I would put my own team together and test our creavity and ability to focus under pressure. As the producer, co-director and editor of this product (within a team of 4 total crew and a cast of 3) we entered the 18th running of the competition, and won the 'Watch Out for the Youth' award.
Our team name was The House of Cards, and we ran a dedicated Twitter account (as well as posting updates to the Clockwork instagram account) during the 48-hour period.

Production Images / Set Photography
As a Media Production student, I have helped out on many of my friends' shooting days for their own coursework. For their promotional purposes, I also like to photograph them in action. I have featured a few below.
Festival Photography
Through my friends' own passions, I have discovered my passion for performance photography, and have photographed a number of bands live at various locations back in October 2022.
Discourse Radio
At Barton Peveril, I partook in an extra-curricular called Radio Broadcasting. Within a team of 4, I was the audio mixer and co-presenter of an hour-long show (broadcast around once a month) on Southampton's Unity 101. We also had a lunchtime broadcast across the campus called Discourse Radio, which we ran every week for over a year.
Below I have attached a sample of us talking on the lunchtime show, audio mixed by me.
